MSc Naval Architect with a very wide experience from all aspects of commercial ship design and operation. Per has played a significant role in the development of commercial ship design and operation. As R&D manager at NAVIRE (nowadays MacGregor) and later as technical manager at the ship-operator Transatlantic, he pioneered the concept of large scale RoRo services. Per has the last decade applied his knowledge and experience in the development of short sea transport systems, focusing on over all efficiency including ship design aspects, ship manufacturing aspects, ship operational aspects and cargo handling aspects.
MSc Naval Architect with a broad experience in ship design, ship building and marine transportation systems. As R&D manager for Kvaerner Ships Equipment (nowadays TTS Ships Equipment) he led the product development of cargo access equipment and the development of innovative automatic cargo handling systems for roro operation. Bengt was outfitting design manager during the start-up phase of Kvaerner Philadelphia Shipyard and has the recent years participated in a number of R&D projects both commercial and EU funded, focusing on the development of short sea shipping.
